Swedish women
Jun. 5th, 2005 09:10 pmReturned from a trip to Sweden to attend a congress, P. recounts his conversation about women with an Italian philosophy professor and a South-American scientist:
And an interesting statement from our South-American friend, who works in the U.S.:
*P. informs me there was/is a strict disctinction between the Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian womanly behaviour.
"Swedish* women are very different from Southern European women when it comes to chatting them up. It is very easy to talk a Swedish woman into your bed, but it will end the next day. You can always ask in the morning if it was good, but it's best to leave after coffee and leave as soon as possible. Southern European women – for instance Italian women – expect an elaborated courtship from a man. You have to take your time and use the three magic words 'I love you'. Saying you love her is the currency that'll get you into her bed, but stating you love your Swedish princess-for-a-night is completely out of line."
And an interesting statement from our South-American friend, who works in the U.S.:
"American women dress like horses and walk like men. I'm not talking about the women walking around in Manhattan of course. You get all sorts over there, but the ones outside the cities are pure horses."
