As if it were some strange Freudian slip one of my students asked me yesterday if it was possible to run Internet Exploiter on the Mac. I told him that yes, it's installed on the Mac, carefully paying attention to the fact I corrected his strange pronunciation. He didn't get the hint and went on saying that Internet Exploiter is the best to work with. Compared to what, I ask you.

I'm getting fed up with Lycos Mail

Everytime I go to lycosmail, to check my emails I get a message declaring I'm the 50.000.000th visitor to the site. My window shrinks to the size of a small pop-up window and all the writing is red and yellow. It's difficult to read, it drives me nuts and I don't understand why this happens. It has been this way for a couple of weeks now and it's the reason why I don't check my mail too often anymore. So if you have to wait a bit for a reply from me, don't be alarmed: it's my webmail that annoys me.
