You know what I hate most about these audition- and interview-typ things? That it always takes them so bloody long to get back to you. So long that you can only conclude that you didn't get it, and they just can't be bothered to let you know. And that's the exact moment when I start blaming myself, because I know I'm good, but was raised not to draw too much attention to myself, not to brag about what I can and what I've accomplished, in short: to be shy and blend in with the rest of the world.

Look where that got me.
