  1. In absence of a proper post you'll have to make-do with a list of things that don't fit in proper posts or I'm too lazy to make a proper post about right now.

  2. I saw Das Leben der Anderen over the weekend. I thought it was a very impressive film, but am too lazy to typ up a review. [livejournal.com profile] salon_virtuel will stay empty a little while longer.

  3. The life of others does always seem way more interesting than mine, for they succeed in everything they endeavour. I was more a sorry specimen, than a confident singer, so ain't too happy about that audition.

  4. It's practice of singing in front of an audience that I need. And confidence in what I can. I've got some mini-concerts coming on up. Anyone living in the vicinity who wants to see me perform live can contact me for details.

  5. For those that aren't living in the vicinity: if you can find a piano and pianist to accompany me, I'd be happy to do a private concert.

I say come over in Paris for a week end! I have a friend who rules that musical café where people can do recitals. Adeline is a soprano herself and they are many professionals who perform in her café. There's a piano there. By=ut it sill very intimate so you could perform without much stress!

I'd love to do that! Do you know a good pianist, or should I start looking for and rehearsing with someone?

P.S.: I don't think i'm as good as those professionals, though. ;-)

Nope I don't know any good pianist (apart from Tom McRae but I guess it isn't what you meant ;-) and I don't know him that way)I think the best thing you could do is come over and meet Adeline first. I'm sure she knows many musicians.

My apartment is too small to welcome P. and you, I don't have a spare room but you could come by yourself first "to try the waters".

Brussels isn't that far away....

That sounds like a plan! I usualy sing with the pianists at my school, but I don't think they'd like to go to Paris for a concert with a non-professional!

I bet Adeline knows someone who likes to accompany me. A good pianist who's used to playing with singers has enough with two or three rehearsals... (And what I sing isn't that hard.)

Damn, this sounds like fun. I'll check my agenda and will send you an email.
