Jarvis Cocker keeps asking not to read the lyrics whilst listening to the songs, and I keep ignoring that advice. I wouldn't have discovered the textual gems in his latest record hadn't I read whilst listening:

How come they're called "Adult Movies" when the only thing they show is people making babies filmed up close?

In Heavy Weather Jarvis even invokes some childhood nostalgia when using the term cold front. Oh where are the days when I watched Armand Pien draw cold fronts on his map in black and white crayons, trying to teach the Flemish tv-viewer something about the serious business of scientificaly predicting the weather?
