Neighbours

My neighbours at the other side of the wall are doing some work in their apartment. During those works they have been able to hit a water pipe of the central heating. A heating system that runs for the entire building. And all this happens the very day nature decides to finaly give us a proper winter. Brrr!

Gah, how *cough* inconvenient. Sounds like snuggling up under loads of blankets and drinking lots of tea might be the only option.

The most inconvenient was that I really had to do some work for school yesterday. Having that field trip and all today. (Which went moderately fine, taken into account the kids still don't understand the meaning of the word respect...) So I was sat behind the computer wearing my warm fleece and getting my fingers all cold and stiff, while P. warmed the bed for me.

The heating is fixed today btw. *thanks random transcendental being for that*

When we lived in Texas, the circuit breaker for the water heaters that gave the entire building hot water would randomly cut out so several times a week we'd be trying to take a bath to warm up or worse in the middle of a bath and suddenly cold water.

Not as bad as having NO heat, but shocking nonetheless.

Ah man, just as bad I say, because cold water in the middle of my shower/bath? I'd scream!
