...that it is possible to make from your trip around the world something boring. Two friends of ours have started travelling in february. Every two weeks we get an update of their "adventures" in our mailbox. The longer they're gone, the more I realise that the trip is anything but adventurous and rather boring when you aren't there. The way they describe what they've visited, seen and done, sounds like they've gone on a school trip. "Look what I've learned, mum!" The little anecdotes, the funny, the experience of spending so much time together aren't there. If only I could get a little taste of the feel of their trip, then maybe I would even think about doing something like this myself. Now I somewhat ironically think: "Wow, that's quite an adventure you had there, having your bag searched in customs."

If only they had read Mark Bernstein's 10 Tips on Writing the Living Web. I noticed that his entry from yesterday about the federal charges against a Stargate fansite has dissapeared from his blog, probably after discovering that the charges were legit.
How I love the internet: Now I can wonder if I've actually seen the post about it in the first place.
