With such a low number as a Body Mass Index (BMI) I've now officialy been excluded of ever running over the catwalk.

For your information: You are considered healthy with a BMI between 18 and 25.
Further information: 45 is what I weigh in kilos, 1.65 is my length in meters. It is possible I've gained a couple of kilos lately. I haven't seen a scale from up close for years.

You're 5ft 4? I had to convert. Curse your sensible metric system :p.

Yes, we're oh so sensible decimal persons here. ;-) But yes, that must be about it. (Had to convert as well... For some reason I had 5ft6 in my head, but that's 1.70m)

Is it weight / (length x length) ?

If so, mine must be 20. Hey I can be a model and run over the catwalk in Spain!!!

Ok maybe not because I'm too short!

Yes.

Or: weight / length2

You weigh less than I do and I'm 1.56m - and my BMI isn't even close to 25!

Outside of Madrid Fashion Week you'd still be allowed to wander down the catwalk...

I know. They tried to regulate it here as well, but now they hope for "selfregulation by the agencies". Yeah of course.

And with my 1.65m I'm also quite short. They like 1.70 at the least and no slouching (bad bad Frances!).

Which makes me realize that you and I could borrow clothes from one another!

Yes, we could - my BMI is the same as yours even!

But definitely no modelling for us - unless they decide that short people are the next big thing (*groans at the bad pun*)
