Michael Andrews sings the Tears for Fears classic Mad World in a wonderful acoustic version. I believe he recorded it for a feature film, but I can't remember which one. It was constantly on the radio those two months I had to drive an hour to school and another hour to get back home. Hearing it on the radio was the highpoint of the day. Today I discovered the video by Michael Gondry is quite beautiful as well.

I believe it was recorded for Donnie Darko. (Which is slightly overrated, I think.)

It was a lot on the radio here, too, and I got sick of it after a while.

Yep, it must have been Donnie Darko. Haven't seen that film.

I didn't miss it when it wasn't on the radio anymore, but it was nice hearing it again. I think you can't get tired of the original though. (I should get me some Tears for Fears to put on iTunes.)
