Fête Nationale
Jul. 21st, 2006 02:57 pmMost of the time we fight amongst ourselves, because we don't understand the lingo. There's only a handful of people that are able to mumble the correct words to the Brabançonne past the very first line. Most of us stick to the instrumental version: "tè-tè-tè-tè" (or "po-po-po-pom" when you speak French). Still, any occasion is good for a day off, because we know how to party. To those having a long weekend: "Joyeuse fête nationale. Prettige nationale feestdag."
