Not leaving
Jun. 25th, 2006 08:37 pmI haven't commented on the LJ-issues of lately. I haven't made a GreatestJournal backup, so I can keep my username "just in case". I have stayed silent, because I don't understand what the fuzz is about, and because I don't understand why GreatestJournal should be different. People assume things. People read other people's assumptions and think they know things.
Some people on the other hand, take time to investigate and discover stuff. Thank you
sister_luck for providing me with a coherent argument considering this issue. We always have to remember we're playing in a public park. Yes, we are allowed to build camps there, but it's the city council that makes the decisions, that says what the park will look like and what we can and can't do there. The more inhabitants there are, the more difficult it'll get to give them all their fair share of the public park for free. We can protest against them, when we don't agree with their decisions. We can leave the city if we think they wronged us, but in that new city we'll inhabit, there will be another city council making ultimately the same decisions.
