Another reason why Buffyverse can't be more than an alternate universe: Instead of the actual 10%, more than 90% of the Buffyverse inhabitants are working on Apple computers. Do you think Buffyverse Windows would coincidentaly be much more stable and less viable to virusses and other malfunctioning software? Or did only the designer hardware switch places and are they all running on Microsoft's operating system?

Good point!

Too bad we didn't get a glimpse of computers in the "Normal Again" alternative 'verse.

And don't forget that Molloch used the Buffyverse's system to get away and seduce Willow in season 1.

Anyway in front of the Mac/PC alternative Giles would choose books!

And then there's Wood's iMac that made Windows sounds.

Of course Giles would choose the books, because so much information isn't digitalised yet, especially the occult information he's working with.

Cordelia on Angel did work with the internet with a site called "Demons Demons Demons".

It's odd. All the cool kids & pretty people on TV shows have Macs. On Veronica Mars everyone is using a Mac except sheriff Lamb, he uses Windows. This once more proves that in TV-verse Windows is for losers. TV-verse apparently just has a lot more cool & pretty people than real life.

It just goes to show I'm cool and pretty, with my white eMac. The last version of Windows I worked on was Windows 98. Whenever someone asks me for computer-advise I always hold up my hands and say I can't work with XP. (I would if they'd let me fiddle with it for an hour and then I'd have the hang of it again.)

I doon't really think Windows is for losers. Unpretty computers are.
