Falling walls
May. 26th, 2006 11:20 amOn the day no-one's working on the scaffolding, my upstairs neighbour is demolishing a wall in his appartment. Outside it's one of those rainy, gray, windy days, that provide no escape hatch. Unless you like getting soaked to the bone and wearing too much clothes for the time of year.
Upstairs Neighbour hopes to move in on the first of July, or something. That'll give him a bit more than a month to get the work done. I wish him and my own mental stability the best of luck, but will be very surprised if he manages to reach his deadline. Houses, appartments and other real estate tend to unveil their hidden deficiencies when you thought you had everything fixed. A. has been stating his studio would be finished within a month since January. Upstairs Neighbour can be glad our building at least doesn't have any leaky gaspipes.
