Sans kettledrums
May. 15th, 2006 10:28 pmBut I did have a piano watching my back when I sang. The exam went quite well and the jury was pleased enough to reward me with 87 points. Some other singers complimented my voice, and that's always a plus. I, on the other hand, accepted those compliments with a shrug and my built-in shyness. I'll never get used to it.

Date: 2006-05-16 11:29 am (UTC)Oh, so it's about replying to compliments? That's really difficult to do in a graceful way. You can't say "Yeah, I know" or "No, it's not true", so usually a "Thank you" is quite enough, I think.
