Yesterday was what you can call a Bank Holiday. We just say Labour Day and stay at home, because shops are closed and the weather can't decide which season it is. So this week Tuesday is the new Monday and I do the usual busride to school. It would have been a ride if the bus would drive. Today it was more walking with wheels. I ended up at school a quarter of an hour late to be standing in front of a closed door, with a note: "No school on May, 2nd." Oops. Seems someone didn't get that memo.
So I drag my tired ass to a coffeeplace to have some breakfast and think up what I can do with the spare time. I should be doing errands, I should be home early to prepare classes. Of course I don't do any of those until I've spent my hard earned cash on stuff I only marginally need. I got myself a bra so I can actually wear that low-cut Summer dress, and because that wasn't enough I also bought a bikini. The skin and bones posing as my body have come a long way: This is the very first bikini I own in, well, almost 27 years. It's the first bikini I own. Period.
At least now I'm ready for those hot, hot days.
