Canada Pictures Part 3: Québec
Apr. 6th, 2006 03:45 pmSpring doesn't want to come out. Leaves are crawling back into their buds. Flowers stick their heads back into the ground. There is nothing left to do, but dream of the Summer that'll come eventually. And what better way is there to dream than with pictures of last Summer's holiday in Canada. This installment gives you Québec.
The Hôtel du Parlement de Québec
The Hôtel du Parlement de QuébecQuébec city is made up of hights and lows, old parts and new parts, lots of stairs, lots of people and lots of touristy Asian folk...

The houses show a great mixture of old-style European architecture and (equally old-fashioned) American wooden houses.

And off we are to more touristy parts of Québec. First we'll visit the citadel.
From where we have a great view over what our travel guide called Québec's very own Disney-castle: Le château Frontenac.

Inside...
Staircases bring you from high Québec to low Québec.
And the lift brings you back again (albeit in another part of Québec City).
That's a view from the top of the lift.
To end in beauty I'll give some fun street-art and interesting architecture.
