Friends Auditions

franceslievensThey parade in front of me, pour their hearts out and at least pretend to listen to my sorrow. So far so good when they come into the final test. Here's a text. What do you do? You won't answer? You forget? Erm... that's it for this audition. Don't call us, we'll contact you.
The disturbing thing is they never know when they are sacked as a friend, when I've decided that I won't need their services. "Hey, haven't seen you around lately!" Well, I guess I didn't call you in the first place, because I got bored trying to make contact. Once you've mastered the reciprocity of friendship I might reconsider your application.
Clarification: S. bugs me tremendously. Doesn't answer texts, like ever, but suddenly shows up. A couple of hours later he's off again with nothing more of an explanation than "I need to find the toilet, fast."
