I switched from IE to Firefox months ago and I swear I will never go back. I hardly get any spyware anymore, no pop-ups, and it just runs better. I took it a step further and started using Thunderbird for my emails, and its been wonderful.

I cringe when I have to open IE for any reason.

I'm currently using Safari, the Mac-browser. It's as easy-to-use and safe as Firefox. Unfortunately some web-applications don't properly work in it. I've been having problems with some fancy aps in LJ & gmail (rich text when you update in LJ for instance doesn't work on my computer) and I can't upload to YouSendIt. That's what you get from being such a small platform. When I've finally managed to import my bookmarks into Firefox (which is installed on my computer anyway) I'll probably switch completely instead of only when I need YouSendIt.

IE comes preinstalled on the Mac (oh, the shame). I've never opened it. When a site says "best viewed in IE" I consider its information irrelevant. Please, you should know better as to make a site that's only viewable with one browser.
