   In the kitchen.

   No.
   
   
4. Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex?
   Yes. More than once. I blame PMS.
   
   
5. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people?
   A full church at Christmas and Easter. I sang in the church choir when I was a kid and at Christmas and Easter we'd do something special, including several solos. I'd always sing one of the solos.
   
   
6. What's the first thing you notice about the preferred sex?
   Two things: face and présence. I can fall like a brick for someone with a cute face and heaps of attitude (and that's the good kind of attitude).
   
   
7. What really turns you on?
   Ah, now you're getting on kinky territory. Same sex smooching, whispering and an oldie, but a goodie: exchange of looks in public places, like the tram.
   
   
8. What do you order at Starbucks?
   Starbucks hasn't made it to Belgium. I'm very happy for that. I met them in Canada. Their coffee sucks.
   
   
9. What is your biggest mistake?
   It's probably something I'm so much ashamed of that I've suppressed it so deep into my brain that I can't find it anymore.
   
   
10. Ever hurt yourself on purpose?
    No.

    I wear glasses.
    
    
12. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?
    No, I generally look like me.
    
    
13. Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows?
    Yes, I'm a big fan of the Flemish children's channel called ketnet. I watch reruns of "Boy Meets World" on it.
    I also own a couple of children's films like "Finding Nemo" and "Monster's Inc."
    
    
14. Did you have braces?
    Yes, for a bit more than a year. One of my front teeth has come a bit forward again, though.
    
    
15. Are you comfortable with your height?
    Yes.
    
    
16. What is the most romantic thing someone of the preferred sex has done for you?
    I don't do romantic. I usually think it's so silly I start to laugh. It's probably the reason why I never was that good on the boyfriend-front. Most men don't like to be laughed at when they for once try to be nice and romantic and sweet.

    I don't.
    
    
18. Do you speak any other languages?
    Dutch, French, English... Is that enough "other"?
    
    
19. Have you ever been to a tanning salon?
    No.
    
    
20. What magazines do you read?
    Nothing on a regular basis. Sometimes Knack, Humo when we're at P.'s parent's place, because they have a subscription, sometimes a girly or a beauty magazine for the pictures.

    No.
    
    
22. Has anyone you were really close with passed away?
    Yes and no, I wasn't that close with them...
    
    
23. Do you watch MTV?
    I used to, when Ray Cokes was still on MTV Europe. It's all gone downhill when he left.
    
    
24. What's something that really annoys you?
    The common stupidity of man and the fact a lot of people think they know everything and therefore don't regard the counterevidence.

    At the moment: singing.

    Stupid question. I like "Billie Jean".

    I dance. I don't know if that qualifies as "being able to dance".

    It must have been more than 24 hours, but I forgot.
    
    
29. Have you ever thought that you were honestly going to die?
    Not at the time, but riding my bike through Brussels I got hit by a car door once. I fell down on a busy street and the car behind me stopped a couple of inches from my head. After I realised how lucky I'd been.
    
    
30. Have you ever been rushed by an ambulance into the emergency room?
    No.
    
    
31. Do you actually read these when other people fill them out?
    It depends if I have time and who has filled them out. I won't read the 100 questions meme, no. :-)

Heh. I know what you mean in your answer to Question 9. I sometimes wonder if I've ever done something so horrific and shaming that I've simply wiped it from my mind. :-)
