High blood pressure had me waiting for over an hour at the maternity ward before they could see me for monitoring. My appointment at 14:20 had me walking out of the hospital at 18:05 – with nothing notably wrong, just the precautions of midwives and gynaecologists. "You better be sure," they say, because when it's wrong, it's very wrong. So on Monday morning I go in again, to make sure there really is nothing wrong. Good I decided to reread the Lord of the Rings trilogy, or the whole afternoon would have been one big waste of time.

My blood pressured stabilised anyway, so the wait and sitting did help... We'll see how it goes tomorrow. Gotta be there at 8:15. :-(

Thank you. I don't feel too bad, apart from some lower back pain, because I've been standing and walking too much lately.
