't was a nice autumn day today. I took the bike to go to the shops. Apart from tires that were slightly flat, it was a good ride. There's too much stuff going on in my head. Days like this make me forget all the nuisance. I have formed some LJ-entries in my head, but they ask for a larger keyboard. The tiny ones might get posted.
I always call them Roma, but don't know if they are. They frequently gather in a large group in the nearby park where they stand in a large circle listening to each other. Sometimes it's just the men, with women and children milling around a bit further. This afternoon the women attended too, leaving the children to play football. I always wonder what they're doing. Is it a social gathering? Or some tribunal? I can't understand nor grasp their sense of community. It must be their otherness and minority that makes them flock together. But then again, I'm a Dutch speaking inhabitant of Brussels. We also tend to flock together. My city is made of minorities living in groups, not looking at the others. We should live with each other, instead of next to one another.
