Political deadlock

Celebrating the sad event of one year after elections and still no government. The news is already on Summer hiatus and shows a documentary on Spanish protests. It's only because of Summer recess we learn about these things. Our own political impasse and half hearted protesting seems much more important to cover in newspapers and on television. We should have yelled much louder, taken our pots and pans to Wetstraat 16, and made some noise. But then again, the group of people in our country who needs to live with wages of less than 1000 EURO a month, is small and not very vocal. They should get a voice though – their numbers are probably growing.
