On Tuesdays LB has her Monkey Music class. After, we usually go grab a coffee with the other kids and mamas/papas/caretakers. We got disappointed looks when I had to inform my newly-made friends we only had one more Monkey Music class to attend and then we'd be going home, back to Brussels to not return any time soon. Next week we'll be in St.-Andrews and the week after that will be our last week here. My parents will come and pick us up. P. will stay longer to sort stuff out and move everything back to Brussels. It feels pretty strange to be going home: when I've only just settled down I'm packing our bags again.

Flemish Independence Party
Jun. 8th, 2010 11:17 pmIt's tempting to go ahead and call Bart De Wever the Belgian Nigel Farage, but that statement would be void. There isn't much that connects them and the biggest difference must be that De Wever has earned himself a gleam of credibility through his previous alliance with the Flemish Christian-Democrats.
