The green revolution
Aug. 31st, 2009 09:55 pmIn need of school supplies I went to Club today. Half of the city population under twelve had the same idea, because the small shop was crowded with mothers and children selecting the perfect pencils and pens. Amidst this crowd I was looking for the one item that I still needed: a new green pen. I prefer to mark with a green pen instead of a red one, because it feels so much friendlier, especially when you're checking out the pupil's work in their books, and not something you mark for grades. Guess what: Club doesn't sell green pens. They've got lots of different pens, which all come in three basic colours: blue, black and red. Green isn't to be found. Really, Club is working against the green revolution. Melting of the ice-cap? All their fault.
