Because I have nothing better to write...
Nov. 29th, 2007 08:55 pmWhen on my own everything comes to a halt. There doesn't seem to be enough time for putting the plates in the dishwasher and wiping the stove. Even writing ceases. I thought I'd have more time and more things of interest to say. It's still all very in between and in between I don't have time. All the ideas are wasted on the paper diary even. Am I growing up? Or am I searching for an equilibrium between the writing and the singing and the teaching? It's mainly teaching and preparing classes nowadays. And what for?
"We didn't choose this job." and "How do you shake your students out of their slumber party?" are frequently heard these days. We try and one can be proud because she tries every day again, but to quote the great P.J. Harvey: "Is that all there is?"
