Ears pierced

My right ear is buzzing. I'm not quite sure when it started, but I noticed it for the first time yesterday morning. In the silence right after I woke up, it wasn't as silent as I thought. So I started retracing my steps, wondering when I had noise filling my ears, but I can't think of anything. Right after the Jarvis concert last week, I didn't have any trouble with my ears – even though it was rather loud.

I can drone it out. During the day, I'm constantly surrounded by children's chatter, so don't notice it. And since I'm one of those teachers that can't keep the class quiet*, there literaly is no silence around me. But there's the rub, really: noise wears me out, and I can't stand it at the moment.

*I'm also one of those teachers that starts yelling when the kids don't pay attention. Of course this doesn't work. And at the moment I'm terribly fed up with it. I'm just so totaly overwhelmed with it all at the moment, and don't know anymore how to cope.
