It finally arrived: the headless Mac. It's a Mac without keyboard, screen or mouse and suitable for people that want to switch operating systems, but want to keep their monitor etc. At the low cost of $499 or €519 Windows users might finally be tempted to give up on the ole MicroSoft. Other Mac products, including my own eMac, have also lowered in price. But I wonder: "What if they succeed and reach a bigger public?" For the moment my computer isn't attacked by spyware or viruses, simply because these focus on the biggest target group: Windows users. What will happen when Mac becomes a significant player?
