Studio Brussel, institute of everything that gets stuffed in the "alternative" section of the CD store and notorious for the nineties week they organised for the tenth anniversary of the death of Kurt Cobain, is completely out of his wits. Twice now I have heard the übercreepy cover of Common People by William Shatner. I thought I would be spared of this piece of musical garbage. Mostly I'm rather good at tuning out songs I don't like, but William Shatner has the terrible gift of hooking himself into your brain. You have to put everything down and listen to him and you're not allowed to let go until he has finished his song. Am I glad there is something called the off-button.
