On writing

Whenever a story pops up in your head you feel like not writing it down. You let it simmer in your head until it withers and dies when you lose interest. "There is nothing to be told," you think. "There is only work to be done," another voice ads, the voice of reason that sounds like an annoying teacher you once had.
You forget to work and waste the time you have. "There is nothing to be done," you think, "only reading, thinking, sitting and enjoying the last sunshine of the year."
