It wasn't this "wow I've answered every question 100% correctly" kind of exam, but hey I think I've passed and that's all I need for now. It's the best I could do, if you bring into account that I spent most of the time I was "studying" for it in a dreamlike state pretending I was some kind of superhero in a post-apocalyptic version of L.A. So there is a slight chance my answers did have a certain fantastic element in them. *g*

I have bought me some books. Three to be exactly: Robert des noms propres by Amélie Nothomb, Pluk redt de dieren by Annie M.G. Schmidt & Fiep Westendorp and "Not Even A Game Anymore" by Judith Helmer & Florian Malzacher (ed.). Other people buy CD's. I buy books. Every excuse is good. The book by Amélie Nothomb? I need to read something for my French oral. Pluk redt de dieren [= Pluk saves the animals]? It's a children's book I can use at school. "Not Even A Game Anymore"? That's the most pleasant one. It's a book with essays and pictures about 20 years of Forced Entertainment. It's input for the things I love in life. It's a coffee table book to read, to cherish, to mumble to, to fiddle with your glasses when reading it... That's what the books are to me. They take me away, make me think, make me want, wonder and dream and they fill my brain with knowledge, like filling an ever hungry mouth.
