This is a great tool when you don't own a scanner, but have a camera phone or digital camera, or when you want something digitalised that's too big to put on the A4-bed of your scanner: ScanR. Send them your picture and they'll return you a nice, cleaned-up pdf-document. Just a couple of weeks ago I had the ever faithful P. take pictures of a book for me because I wanted to use the drawings in it in school, but the book was too big to fit under the scanner. Lighting isn't optimal when you take pictures like that, and my print-outs were a bit blurry and too dark. If only I'd known about ScanR beforehand...
